To give children a better future, Plan International carries out development work in more than 80 countries. As Plan sponsors, we help ensure that more children have access to education, better healthcare, clean water, protection and financial security.

Plan International works to ensure that children in developing countries have the same opportunities that we take for granted for our own children. Plan’s work is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, often referred to as “children’s law”. Needs vary from one place to another, but Plan always starts with the local communities where the children live, working together with local residents and authorities to identify and implement long-term development initiatives.

Amnesty International

We are proud supporters of Amnesty International and its work supporting Lawyers at Risk. For us, it is important to have the opportunity to stand in solidarity with lawyers around the world.

An important part of Amnesty International’s work involves supporting individuals who defend human rights around the world. Many of these individuals are lawyers who risk facing serious reprisals, and in some cases even losing their lives, for carrying out work that is fundamental to upholding the rule of law.

Amnesty International does not receive government funding. It is therefore the financial contributions of its supporters and the efforts of its activists around the world that enable the organisation to remain an independent voice, holding governments accountable for their actions.
